BF's Brew Review
Rating (out of 5): 3.00

Notes:

Nutty, indistinct stone fruits.

Comments:

Probably overextracted this first batch. Still pretty sweet and tasty, but the flavors are muddled and there’s a bitter overlay. Not as much acidity as I’d like. Next pourover is getting the grind bumped to ~20 and I’ll see what I think. Even if I can’t squeeze more out of it, it’s still a pretty good bag for the money.

ST's Brew Review
Rating (out of 5): 3.50

Notes:

Smells like hazelnut wafer cookies (as did the beans themselves). Tastes similar.

Comments:

Hope the next brew can draw out the subtle apricot notes. This one tilted caramel and roasted. Pretty nice afternoon mug 🙂
