…La Palma y El Tucán. The beans were not actually from LPET (lol acronym). The folks there participate in a program called Neighbours and Crops program. Beans are from Jaime Palomo. -SCT
As the title says. Too much Bluebird and Bones song in this house. Bag Alert! – SCT
Wush Wush Wush Wush Wush Wush.
Arrived just in time, we nearly ran of coffee.

It’s really far too hot in here with the AC broken, but that doesn’t stop me from having a good mug.

Bag 2 of 2 from Impact. Early morning brew because I woke up too early from snuffling. -ST
Lucky us won a lottery for the honor of purchasing Term Oil (Coconut Monster Cookie) from Toppling Goliath. Picked up two bags of beans from Impact Coffee in town too. Coffee shop is also a cool spot to hang out and do business in the morning. -ST
GUEST BREW REVIEW
RATING (OUT OF 5): 3.25
NOTES:
I LOVED THE INITIAL IMPRESSION OF THIS COFEE. THE BEANS REALLY DO SMELL LIKE STRAWBERRIES. HOWEVER, THAT AROMA DID NOT COME THROUGH DURING/AFTER BREWING. INSTEAD OF A JUICY, SWEET END PRODUCT, WHAT I ENDED UP WITH WAS A BIT OF A WEAK CUP. THE AROMA AND MOUTHFEEL WERE JUST SOFT. EVERYTHING SEEMED MUTED. I TRIED A FEW DIFFERENT SETTINGS AFTER THE FIRST BREW, BUT NONE OF THE CUPS LIVED UP TO MY HOPES.
COMMENTS:
FOR THE PRICE, CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS COFFEE. I MADE 6 OR 7 DIFFERENT BATCHES BUT CAME AWAY DISAPPOINTED WITH ALL OF THEM. STILL HOLDING OUT SOME HOPE THAT IT WAS ALL USER ERROR, BUT IF SO, IT’S TOO DIFFICULT TO OPTIMIZE, AND I WOULD WASTE A FEW MORE OUNCES TRYING TO HIT THE SWEET SPOT.
Another from this shipment of Vibrant. -ST
Vibrant hyped it up big, so I’m hyped up for an Easter mug of it.
