Seems like there’s room for this to be more of a standout. First cup of it lacks the character of the Costa Rican SL-28 batches. Still pleasant, but lacks distinction.

Smells lightly only — almonds and cocoa. Taste is a hint of vegetal and milk. Generic.
Comments:
I think there’s potential for more flavor to be extracted. I think this was just a bad brew of this coffee. However, a fine cup to start the morning.
